Michelle Bardsley is a public school teacher leader. She’s an active high school Career and Technical Education (CTE) Business, Marketing, and Microsoft educator with 12 years’ experience in North Carolina public schools and 9 years with NC Virtual Public Schools.
Bardsley is also a businesswoman. She graduated from Old Dominion University with academic and Kaufman Honors earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Finance. She has 13 years of business experience in accounting-finance, IT business analysis, and project management.
Bardsley has a history of "putting students first” and of making a positive impact in the lives of children. She has lead FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) club to develop business and leadership skills in students for 9+ years. She also lead many initiatives for students with Junior Achievement, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Girls Scouts, Pop Warner cheer leading, and church youth events.
She is also a teacher leader. Bardsley served on school Southern Region Education Board and Instructional Leadership Teams with local educator leaders to improve instructional strategies. She serves on curriculum writing teams at the state level and has a passion to encourage educators with their expertise and student achievement goals.
She is married (27+ years), has four GCS graduate children, and serves on the worship team of her church.
Bardsley's desire is to put her educational leadership "Passion into Action" with GCS over the next 5+ years, for success of our children, families, educators, and community.
